Knowsley Older People’s Voice – Activities

As you will be aware, the emergence of Coronavirus is requiring governments, organisations, and individuals to make a range of changes to our normal everyday activities to help delay the spread of the virus.

Much of our work is undertaken with older people and other groups who are potentially at greater risk if they were exposed to the virus. Therefore, following guidance from our colleagues at Healthwatch England and current government advice around reducing social contact, Healthwatch Knowsley [Knowsley Older People’s Voice] has taken the decision to cancel meetings and other face to face activities until the end of April 2020.

During this period, Healthwatch Knowsley [Knowsley Older People’s Voice] will be aiming to support people in other ways, such as providing [high quality trusted] information and signposting to appropriate services. Our staff team will remain available during office hours. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you if you feel we may be able to help in any way.
