Influencing Bus Services

The House of Commons Transport Committee delivered a Question and Answer Session for the Liverpool City Region on Monday 14th January 2019.

The Transport Committee is charged by the House of Commons with scrutiny of the Department for Transport. Its formal remit is to examine the expenditure, administration and policy of the Department for Transport and its associated public bodies. The Committee visited Liverpool to take oral evidence for its inquiry into the bus market, and was particularly keen to understand the picture of bus provision across the Liverpool City Region. Knowsley Older People’s Voice was able to present to the panel some regular issues raised by older people about local bus services. To see video footage from the session click here
