Joint Commissioning (17/08/11)

This consultation exercise was undertaken to look at the effectiveness of joint commissioning. Knowsley has been a pilot site for Joint Commissioning, and this consultation undertaken by University of Birmingham was part of the review process to evaluate the outcomes. Invitations were extended to both KOPV and Knowsley LINk members to take part in this joint consultation of service users.

During the session, participants received feed back of the researchers provisional findings. It was followed by a focus group during which attendees were asked to talk about their experiences of the delivery of health and social care services in Knowsley. The group went on to explore areas where performance could have been better, and how a service might be delivered differently to provide an improved service user experience.
