Crime & Older People (23/02/11)

On this occasion we were approached by Age UK (North West) to organise a consultation session around how Community Safety Partnerships can do more to support older people. 

This was one of a number of focus groups organised on behalf of the Home Office all around the country.

The session was semi-structured to answer certain questions and promote discussions regarding how Community Safety Partnerships can do more to support older people. The aim was to determine attitudes and opinions of community safety partnerships, stuff feeling secure in the home and the perception and impact of crime.

 

It was hoped that the information provided would help to maximise the reach of crime prevention messages amongst people in later in life, viagra canada by:  

  • Encouraging and enabling people to make themselves more secure and thereby reduce the risk of becoming a victim of crime.
  • Providing advice and support to reduce fear of crime amongst vulnerable people.
