KOPV is a forum designed to ensure that Older People in the borough of Knowsley receive information about local services and developments that affect them, and have their say in influencing these.
Membership has now grown to over 600 members, some of whom represent local groups or neighbourhoods.
KOPV was established in 2003 - an idea by Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council and Knowsley PCT to provide them with a forum of older people with whom they could consult on older people's issues. We remain funded by these statutory bodies, and hosted by Age UK Knowsley & West Mersey.
